Joshua Francis “Josh” Tregoning passed away suddenly on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of thirty-eight.Josh was born January 21, 1986, in Carbondale, Illinois. Josh attended Goreville High School and served as a US Marine for four years. Josh was a beloved son and brother. He was a loving father and devoted friend. Josh’s quiet exterior could only temporarily hide his playful and loving personality. He could find a movie quote for any situation. He loved to read and watch movies. Mostly, Josh loved to chat. Josh could stay up all night as long as there was a good conversation to be had.Josh is survived by his daughters Cameron and Kadynce; parents George and Carol; brother Seibert; sister-in-law Ellie; and nieces Hazel and Mable. Visitation services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 11:00 am-12:00 am at Goreville United Methodist Church located at 116 West Adams Street, Goreville, Illinois.
