Jackie Lynn Barnett, 77, of Goreville, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at his home.Jack was born Oct. 23, 1946, in the Elvira Township in Johnson County Illinois. He was the son of Merritt Wayne Barnett and Boneta (Jacobsen) Barnett.On Nov. 16, 1978, Jack was united in marriage to Pam Blasdel in Marion. She survives.In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Ashley Barnett, Paul (Katherine) Barnett, Mark (Chuck Morrison) Barnett, Stormi (Doug Phelps) Barnett, and Tate (Rachel) Wright; grandchildren, Laney Wright, Lucas Wright, Michael (Deb) Barnett, Brittany (Marconi) Hernandez, and Branson Barnett; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Molly) Barnett; and a special family friend, Sean Nave.In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by an infant brother, Bobbie Barnett.Jack was a graduate of Goreville grade and high schools.
