It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Ann Bowman Heflin, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born Aug. 13, 1952, in Moline, Illinois. She grew up in Southern Illinois and later moved to South Carolina and then San Antonio, Texas.Patty was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Naomi (Burklow) Bowman; and her brother, James Michael Bowman. She is survived by her sister, Rita (John) Housewright and brother, Richard (Darla) Bowman. Patty was a dedicated and loving mother to her children, Steven Bradley Heflin and Lori Heflin; and a wonderful Nana/Grandma to her grandchildren, Jade Heflin, Logan Heflin, Lilith Sarabi and Sabin Heflin. She was a second mom to her nieces and nephews and a second grandmother to their kids as well. Her heart was so big and had so much love to give.Patty had Polio at a young age. The doctors never expected her to live past the age of 13 but she surpassed their expectations eve
